By creating an account or using Namu, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Namu is a Korean learning app that provides generated stories, word definitions, saved words, flashcards, and related study tools. Namu is currently a beta product and may change as it develops.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your password, and activity under your account. Please notify support if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not use Namu to:

Stories, definitions, and other AI-generated material may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. They are provided for educational use and are not guaranteed to be error-free. You should verify important language, cultural, medical, legal, financial, or other factual information independently.

The Free plan includes usage limits. Namu Plus offers expanded access for $9.99 per month or $85 per year. The price and billing period you select are displayed before purchase. Pricing, limits, and features may change; changes that affect an existing subscription will be communicated before they take effect when required by law.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Namu does not receive or store your full card number. A Namu Plus subscription automatically renews at the selected monthly or annual price until canceled. Stripe charges your payment method at the beginning of each billing period. Taxes, if applicable, are shown at checkout.

You may cancel through the Stripe customer portal linked from Settings. Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid the next charge. After cancellation, Plus access ordinarily continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and the subscription does not renew. Deleting the app or stopping use does not cancel a subscription.

Except where required by law, subscription charges are non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support@readnamu.com promptly so it can be reviewed. An approved full refund ends Plus access and cancels future renewal immediately. A partial refund does not change the subscription unless support confirms otherwise. A payment dispute may cause immediate suspension of Plus access and cancellation of the associated subscription while the dispute is handled.

Namu owns or licenses the app, website, software, branding, design, and related materials. You may use stories generated for you through Namu for your personal learning. These terms do not transfer ownership of Namu's app, software, or branding.

Namu may change, pause, limit, or discontinue features. Because the service is in beta, interruptions, lost data, generation errors, and other problems may occur. Namu does not promise uninterrupted availability.

Namu may suspend or terminate access when an account abuses the service, creates risk, violates these terms, or when necessary to protect the service or others. You may stop using Namu at any time.

Namu is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, Namu disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, Namu and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Some laws do not allow certain limitations, so these limits may not apply to you.

These terms may be updated as Namu develops. The date at the top will be changed when updates are made. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
